Welcome to the Hockey Hall of Fame Finland!
Our museum looks better than ever before. Come and see the most interesting items and stories of Finnish ice hockey and much more!
Our permanent exhibition, renewed in 2022, demonstrates the history of Finnish ice hockey from the uncertain beginning to the success of modern times. We are especially highlighting the development of the sport and its equipment, the accomplishments of the national teams, both men’s and women’s premiere leagues and the Finnish hockey heroes playing abroad.
The Hall of Fame displays the most distinguished awards, including the World Cup trophies of the Lions and the most coveted prize in the Finnish Hockey League, the Canada Bowl. You can also find the 262 Ice Hockey Lions ennobled in the Hall of Fame; the highest honor granted in Finnish ice hockey.
The temporary exhibition “Let’s play hockey in Finland” covers the history of World Championship tournaments held in Finland on different levels.
Our exhibition is located in Museum Center Vapriikki in the city of Tampere. We are open from Tuesday to Sunday 10 am – 6 pm. We have unobstructed access and gender-neutral bathrooms.
